Apart from the company’s general terms and conditions for car rental apply to following terms and conditions.

Driving Area
Driving area and based island is Lesvos. Ferrying the rental cars Lesvos to other Greek Islands is possible only on request and with the written authorization from Lesvorama.gr and the car rental companies. You may request the document in advance when you make your reservation.
Lesvorama.gr does not offer a one-way rental program between the Greek Islands, the rental car must drop off at Lesvos stations.
It is strictly forbidden to travel outside Greek borders with a Lesvorama.gr vehicle.
Delivery & Collection / Opening Hours
Delivery and collection within the working hours is included.
The opening hours for all Stations are from Monday to Sunday between 08:00 -21:00 Hour.
Outside opening hours even if late collection is caused by a flight delay is possible for an additional charge. The surcharge is €25.00 and this service is bookable on request.
The car hire company will offer, in most locations, delivery and collection to/from accommodation, although a charge may apply. Full address details and a time of delivery must be given at the time of booking request.
One Ways
One way rentals normally are not provided by lesvorama.gr. This service is possible for some stations for an additional charge and is bookable on request. We will advise you the extra costs after we receive your booking request & receive confirmation from the car hire company on the one way rental.
Rental Duration
The minimum car rental is one (1) day. Rental days are calculated on a 24 – hour basis from the vehicle’s pick up time, with a grace period of tow (2) hours. Further delay will result in an additional charge equal to one (1) day’s rental.
Early Return
The duration of your rental starts and finishes according to the pick-up and drop- off dates and times detailed on your voucher, the price of which will be confirmed at time of booking and is calculated on the basis of 24-hour units. Unfortunately rental cars Lesvos – Lesvorama.gr is unable to make refunds for vehicles, in case of late pick-up, early return or unused days.
Rental Extension
If you wish to extend the rental period after collection of the car or if you return the car later than stated on your voucher, you must inform rental cars Lesvos – Lesvorama.gr and the car rental company. The contract for such an extension will always be with the car hire company directly and will charged by the car hire company at the local daily rate, which may be higher than the rates agreed with us at the time of booking.
Driver Age Requirement
The renter and any associated extra drivers must be on collection of the hire car a minimum of 23 – 65 years of age for all car categories. For drivers aged less than 23 years and over 65 years on collection of the hire car and regardless of the type of the car, will be charged € 10,00 incl. VAT daily. Maximum charge 14 days. This surcharge for young / old drivers is not included in rental price.
Driver’s License
Drivers must have a valid license held for at least one year. An International Driving License (IDL) is required by Greek Law for all drivers that are not citizens of the European Community as well as for holders of a Driving License that is not legible in English. Valid in more than 150 countries, the permit contains your name, photo and driver information. All persons driving the vehicle must be in possession of their driving license at all times for perusal by local authorities.
Additional Drivers
The minimum age and driver’s license requirements for the renter also apply to the additional driver. There is no additional driver fee for up to one extra driver. For every additional driver a 2.90 Euro (€) daily fee applies. All accepted additional drivers will be covered under the insurance coverage.
Car Capacity and Vehicle Type
All vehicles are insured for a maximum number of passengers. Lesvorama.gr cannot accept liability for the vehicle being unsuitable for all passengers and luggage. As a guide please refer to the Lesvorama.gr website for approximate passenger of the car groups available. Lesvorama.gr cannot accept responsibility for rentals denied at time of collection or otherwise due to the party size being too large for the vehicle. Lesvorama.gr is unable to guarantee a particular make or model of vehicle. The car shown on your voucher or in our website is for guidance only and may be substituted for an alternative similar model or upgraded vehicle.

The price and the booking through lesvorama.gr includes the following services and insurances: Unlimited Kilometers, Third Part Liability Insurance, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with participation, Theft – (TP) with participation, Fire Protection (FP) with participation, Break Down Assist, VAT & Local Taxes, Airport delivery charge, Delivery & Collection Service within opening hours, Island Map.

Every booking through lesvorama.gr includes unlimited Kilometers.

Third Party Liability Insurance
Third Party Liability Insurance (TPP) is included in the rental rates and covers: a) Death and bodily injury damages to third parties up to €750,000.00, b) Property damages to third parties (excluding lesvorama.gr vehicles’ damages) up to €750,000.00.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in the rental rates and reduces the renter’s liability from the total cost of the damage, to an excess amount where applicable unless the renter intentionally causes the damage is under the influence of drink or drugs or uses the vehicle in a prohibited or negligent way e.g. driving off main roads or hiring to other parties. CDW covers liability for damage to the vehicle or its parts and accessories. Windscreens, tyres, under carriage, replacement locks, replacement keys and towing charges are not covered under the insurance policy. The renter’s responsibility for damages to the lesvorama.gr vehicle is limited to the amount of €350.00 +V.A.T. for groups A’B’C’, €600.00+VAT for groups D’,D1’,G’,K’ and €800.00+VAT for groups E’E1’,F’,F1’. A deposit (via credit card) equaling this amount will be required at the time of rental and will be refunded provided that the vehicle is returned undamaged.
Theft Protection (THW)
Theft Protection is included in the rental rates and reduces the renter’s liability in the event of theft or damages caused due to theft or attempted theft of the vehicle to an excess amount where applicable. Negligence connected with the theft of the vehicle may lead to the car hire company requiring the full amount for the cost of the vehicle. The renter’s responsibility for damages to the lesvorama.gr vehicle is limited to the amount of €350.00 +V.A.T. for groups A’B’C’, €600.00+VAT for groups D’,D1’,G’,K’ and €800.00+VAT for groups E’E1’,F’,F1’. Theft Protection does not cover theft or damage of any personal belongings.
Fire Protection (FPI)
Fire Protection is included in the rental rates and reduces the renter’s liability in the event of fire or damages caused due to fire or attempted fire of the vehicle to an excess amount where applicable. Negligence connected with the fire of the vehicle may lead to the car hire company requiring the full amount for the cost of the vehicle. The renter’s responsibility for damages to the lesvorama.gr vehicle is limited to the amount of €350.00 +V.A.T. for groups A’B’C’, €600.00+VAT for groups D’,D1’,G’,K’ and €800.00+VAT for groups E’E1’,F’,F1’. Fire Protection does not cover theft or damage of any personal belongings.
Super Additional Damage Waiver Insurance (S.C.D.W.)
Super Additional Damage Waiver Insurance (S.C.D.W.) is optional and covers the renter, by purchasing before picking up the vehicle, for the damage excess portion of any charges paid to the supplier as a result of a claim on the Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection and Fire Protection whilst renting your vehicle. This Additional Damage Waiver Insurance will not refund charges which are not covered by the car rental companies through CDW policy. If you require SCDW, it can be purchased during the booking process or locally on collection of the hire car.
Personal Accident Insurance (P.A.I)
Personal Accident Insurance (P.A.I.) is optional and covers the driver of the rented car against death, total permanent disability by traffic accident up to the amount of €15,000.00. This insurance may be covered by your holiday or credit card insurance. If you require PAI, it can be purchased during the booking process for a surcharge €2, 50 per day or locally on collection of the hire car.
Important Note
Please check carefully the details of the insurance provided by the car hire company. Lesvorama.gr recommends that you, the renter, familiarize yourself fully with the extent of the cover provided with any rental & where necessary, take out additional cover in respect of your spouse and any children or close relatives who will be accompanying you in the vehicle.
Below find some examples of common exclusions from the Car Rental Companies CDW policies:
- When the driver is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
- When the vehicle has been driven negligently or without due car & attention, including driving off road & on untarmaced roads
- When the driver was not a named driver on the rental agreement
- Towing charges or damage caused at the rental vehicle being towed by an unauthorized third party
- Damage caused to the windows, windscreen, glass, personal belongings, wheels and/or tyres or undercarriage.
In the above circumstances, your liability to pay for the excess will not be waived and you may be liable for the full cost of the damages up to the total cost of the vehicle. The full details of the coverage including exclusions will be provided by the car rental company.
Lesvorama.gr will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing willful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. You, the renter, will accept full responsibility in respect of such claims. This list is not exhaustive.
Local Deposits & Fuel Policy
Most of the car hire companies require a deposit at the start of the rental to cover petrol, and liability excess. A valid major credit card will be required in most cases (check with our Reservations Centre) and must be in the lead driver’s name. The vehicle will be delivered in most cases with a full tank of fuel (if the vehicle is not full, the exact amount of fuel is written in the contract) and should be returned from you in the same way. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than those mentioned in the policy reception, you will be charged the extra amount that corresponds to filling a fuel tank upon your return. Payment for fuel charges is made in the rental office, calculated the current petrol or diesel price in addition to refueling fee of 12,00€. No refund will be given for unused fuel.
Provision of Cars
Car hire companies reserve the right to refuse to make available a vehicle to any person considered unfit to drive or who does not meet eligibility requirements. rental cars Lesvos – Lesvorama.gr will not be liable for the completion of travel arrangements, nor for any refund, compensation or any other costs you, the renter, may have to pay. rental cars Lesvos – Lesvorama.gr cannot accept liability for any charges incurred as a result of documentation signed for and accepted locally. No refunds will be given for rentals rejected by our local suppliers due to non-production of a driving license or non-disclosed endorsements. Please ensure you have all the necessary documentation at time of pick up the car. In general, these are your driver’s license of the appropriate class of vehicle, your identity card or passport and a valid credit card.
Child Seats
Child seats are required by the Greek law. During the booking process you, the renter, if you need this service, you can choose between Baby Seat(s) (Babys approx.0-12 months or 0-10Kg), Child Seat(s) (Children approx. 1-3 years or 9-18Kg) and Booster Seat(s) (Children approx. 4-7 y. or 15-30Kg). The surcharge for a child seat is €4.80 per day.
Special Requests
Roof/Luggage racks (not available on some vehicles) and additional items are available on request. Requests for these items should be made at the time of booking. We will advise you the extra costs after we receive your booking request & receive confirmation from the car hire company about the special requests.
Break Down Assistance & Mechanical Difficulties
In the case of breakdown or mechanical difficulties, you must call the car hire company immediately. The car hire company must give authority for repairs or replacement cars.
Accidents
If you, the renter, are involved in an accident, the local police and the car hire company MUST be immediately contacted. Keep copies of all relevant documentation you are asked to complete. This may be needed if you, the renter, wish to make an insurance claim.
Complaints
If you, the renter, are dissatisfied in any way with the standard of vehicle upon collection, please report this to the car hire company. It is difficult for rental cars Lesvos – Lesvorama.gr to assess any claim regarding the standard of your vehicle if this action is not taken during the hire. If you have a complain about the insurances and to an amount that deducted from your credit card for a damage excess, you can reclaim through lesvorama.gr subject to our terms and conditions, provided you forward a copy of the following documents to lesvorama.gr:
- A copy of the car rental agreement together with a copy of the supplier accident report form, (this should be completed before completing the rental).
- A police report if a 3rd party was involved in the incident
- A copy of your vehicle check in & check out documents which clearly show the new damage being charged for.
- Evidence of payments deducted on your credit card.
These documents must be sent to our customer service department within 28 days of the rental finishing. If you, the renter, are dissatisfied in any way, please contact our Customer Care Department, within 28 days of your return.
Cancellations and Changes
If you wish to change or cancel your booking, you must make any change or cancellation in writing, please send e-mail at info@lesvorama.gr or fax to +30 2253072292, informing us your request. Then, the part of our company will contact you to settle in your request. If the request for cancellation or change is sent outside of the working hours then the day of receipt of the request will be considered the next business day. You are advised to carefully read the cancellation policy or change your reservation before making your reservation. The costs may occur when changing or cancellation of a travel service lies solely with the user determined by the terms of each supplier.
Please note that you will be charged for canceling or changing reservation according to the following terms:
- For, car rental reservations the terms of cancellation or change are:
- To cancel or change a reservation up to 7 days before date of arrival the charge is only the bank expenses for your reservation.
- To cancel or change a reservation up to 3 days before date of arrival the charge is 10% of the total value of your reservation.
- To cancel or change a reservation up to 1 day before the date of arrival or no show the charge is 50% of the total value of your reservation.
- To cancel or change a reservation the date of arrival or no show the charge is 100% of the total value of your reservation.
Please note that for some prices or some special offers there is no possibility of cancellation or change.
If We Make Changes to Your Booking
Occasionally it may be necessary for changes to be made to your booking (after acceptance) by us or the car hire company. In all such cases we will advise you, the renter, as soon as reasonably possible before the time of hire and, if the proposed changes are unacceptable, you will be offered you a full refund. However, in such circumstances, we shall have no additional liability in respect for any direct or indirect losses you may suffer as a result of such changes.
Compensation – Refund
The refund of money on cancellations or changes of bookings for car rentals will be done as soon as possible and not later than the end of the month following of the date of the cancellation.
